Spring 2004

The Stitch-n-Glue Course

Based on the success of our Fall '03 Mill 13' Creek Kayak Course, participants were given the option of building any of the designs from Chesapeake Light Craft. Four boats were built, two Mill Creek 16½ foot kayaks (one from plans and one from a kit), one Eastport 8' Pram from plans and one Annapolis Wherry from a kit.
Below, under the watchful eye of volunteer instructor and CRMC president, Mike Garlin, mother and son team Barbara and Billy Kresse begin construction of their Annapolis Wherry kit by scarfing the planks.
